Golden Sands Restaurant first started in the early 90s in Ultimo. (T/A Mama Wong Restaurant). The business takes less than one year to become popular in the local area, especially among the TAFE students and office workers.

After two years of operation, one of our regular customer had invited us to run the restaurant for Botany Golf Club.

Because the club has offered us a very good condition,  we  decided to sign the agreement with them. We use a very similar menu and added more Western Cuisine to meet the taste of the Club members. Since we started the restaurant in the Golf Club, we had provided lots of special deals to both the Club members and local residents to give them more opportunity to taste our meal. Because we provided fresh, tasty and value for money meals and friendly service, our restaurant has build up a very good reputation and become popular in the local area. Our special deals are for example: 3 course meal for $9.90 and Kids eat for Free for Saturday and Sunday.

Due to our extensive experience and the support of our family members and staffs, we extended our business to Lansvale United Sports Club, Mascot Inn, Fomula one Hotel, Quest Hotel, and Sands Hotel.

We also provided free home delivery service for both our meals and the liquor from the Bottle Shop, which makes it more convenient for our customers.

Golden Sands is now providing catering services for three different venues and serving average 350 people per day and currently have 16 employees.

Due to our long term relationship with our supplier and major buying power, we can pass more savings onto all our customer now.

And also, we’ve been growing most of our vegetable used in the restaurant in the farm owned by our relative in Kogarah since 2001.Therefore, we can guarantee the freshness of all our meals.

Our philosophy hasn't changed since. It's simply " to serve fresh and nutritous food, cooked to order, providing helpful, friendly servide and value for money."
